The Uganda Bankers’ Association (UBA) is an umbrella organization for financial institutions licensed and supervised by Bank of Uganda (BoU). UBA was established in 1981 and is currently made up of 36 members (all 25 licensed Commercial Banks, the 3 development banks and 8 Tier 2&3 Supervised Financial Institutions). The primary purpose of the assignment is to support the banking sector in Uganda to develop and implement a job grading system.
