UBA Membership

Banks of all sizes, both domestic and international supervised and licensed by the Central Bank of Uganda can become members of UBA. Institutions can become members of UBA under two categories; the full membership category and the Associate membership category.

UBA Full Membership

The typical members under this category are commercial banks and development banks. These members have voting rights during the UBA Annual General Meetings and attend monthly UBA CEOs and Governor’s Meeting.

UBA Associate Membership

These members comprise of Non- Commercial banks/ Financial Institutions. Tier 2& 3 supervised by the Central Bank of Uganda. These members attend quarterly UBA CEOs meeting and contribute to topics/issues for discussion during the monthly meeting.
