Mr Ronald Ochen is currently a Senior Research Officer at the Uganda Bankers Association in Kampala Uganda. He has extensive experience conducting macroeconomics and development research. His research interests are financial inclusion, financial economics, macro-econometrics modeling & forecasting, public finance, and monetary policy. He has written peer-reviewed working papers and Journal papers related to his areas of interest.
He has also reviewed a journal paper for the Tanzanian Economic Review Journal. Moreover, he has presented his research papers at regional and global conferences. He holds an M.A. in Economic Policy Management from Makerere University (MUK) Uganda and a B.A. in Economics (Hons) from Kyambogo University (KYU) Uganda.
