Faith Kathambi is an Investment Officer looking after Financial Institution clients within East Africa. She joined FMO in 2023 as part of the Financial Institutions Africa Debt team, and is based out of the FMO office in Nairobi. Her role is to work with Financial services players including Banks, Microfinances, Fin techs and Funds across East Africa with a focus on increasing access to financing the underserved parts of the economy (SMEs, MSMEs, Youth, Green and gender financing). Prior to joining FMO she worked in a commercial bank for over 15 years, with her last role being a coverage role looking after Financial Institutions. She also doubles up as the Local Representative for FMO in East Africa.
