I am a capital markets and investment management executive with over 20 years’ experience across asset management, securities research and trading, pension funds, and investor relations in East Africa.
As Chief Executive of SBG Securities-the asset management and securities trading subsidiary of Stanbic Uganda, I lead strategy execution to drive profitable growth, market leadership, and disciplined risk-managed performance. I oversee teams across portfolio management, research, equities brokerage, investment operations, and digital innovation, focused on delivering world-class investment solutions and sustainable client value.
Previously, I managed equity portfolios exceeding US$300 million at the National Social Security Fund and served as Head of Investor Relations at Umeme Limited, leading engagement with investors, analysts, regulators, and international stakeholders. My earlier
career included equity research, trading, and brokerage roles across the region.
I am a CFA Charterholder and hold an MBA from Warwick Business School. I am passionate about building high-performing teams, developing future investment professionals, and advancing deeper, more efficient capital markets in Uganda and East Africa.
