Karabo joined Nedbank CIB and the Mining and Critical Minerals business in 2018, where he has executed numerous transactions for mining and mining services companies across several jurisdictions in Africa, including South Africa, the Republic of Guinea, Namibia and Tanzania.
Prior to that he spent five years at Citi where he worked in the Sub-Saharan Africa Corporate Finance and EMEA Loans and Acquisition Finance divisions in South Africa and London respectively, gaining experience on loan and debt capital market transactions, spanning across multiple jurisdictions and sectors, including mining, power, diversified industrials, telecommunications and technology, financial services and public sector.
Karabo holds a Bachelor of Business Science Finance (Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
