Roy Baguma

Roy is a seasoned Investment and Development Finance Professional with a total of 28 years of Development Finance Experience with both local and Regional Development Finance Institutions namely Development Finance Company of Uganda – 1 year, Preferential Trade Area Bank (PTA Bank) now Trade and Development Bank –8 years (5 years in Senior Investment Management positions), East African Development Bank – 6 years in Senior Investment Management positions, Uganda Energy Credit Capitalisation Company (UECCC)- 13 years in a Senior Management position serving as the Director, Transaction Execution and currently serving as the Managing Director effective 1st April 2024

He is a holder of a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Statistics from Makerere University Kampala and a Masters in Business Administration in Financial Management from the University of Hull (United Kingdom). He is also a Certified Public Private Partnership (PPP) Specialist of the Institute of Public Private Partnerships – IP3 Washington DC and many other Euromoney Training Certifications.
